My final submission for 2011.
My dad bought these 'Galaxy Druzy Quartz' from a traveling gemstone salesman, and I wanted to get at least one of them into a design before the holidays were over.
Anyway, as I said before, the large stone in this piece is called galaxy druzy quartz, which is set in some sterling silver bezel. The rest of the piece is crafted from sterling silver wire and bezel. And as you can see, there's a 3.0mm round brilliant diamond set in a barrel setting as an accent stone. I'm pretty proud of this design, enough so that I think it's the perfect piece to sign off on for the year.
